Is that woven leather on the tops of the two lace-ups on the top right?
I like the toe shape but they all appear to be similar in width to AEs.
Koji Suzuki is always very impressive. He does Italian shoes better than the Italians in some ways.
They have a somewhat French look as well.

^^^^ yes, fitting done with a prova shoe. I have a fitting in late May and will report back afterwards. It is my understanding that they are handmade, and they are certainly custom. He did not appear to have a machine in stock other than a buffer, and he and his apprentices were welting shoes at the small table in the shop when I was there.
The last looks indeed very nice. Did you know why Ugolini does not "lift" (I don`t know if this is the correct term)the front part of the sole? Maybe it is just the angle of the picture.

What sort of shoes do you wear?
I mainly wear AE, Alden rtw in black. Always wanted to try custom but really never had the balls to lay out $3,000 or more.
