food questions for shoo

Just to give it a thread it deserves

I know you've talked about it before, but whats the average daily shoo diet.

Ie types of food, protein,  fat and carb in take. What are the sources? What nutrients if any do you know to be missing from your diet?

Are there any foods you think you should be eating that you don't other than milk.

Do you distil your water if so how and why?

Do you do any hard physical exercise say weights.. I only ask in wondering how you replenish your glycogen stores.

Thanks in advance

Re: food questions for shoo

Thanks for taking the time, i found that all very interesting btw. What's light consumption? I guess were not talking about sun light?

I suppose with polysaccharides you'd be getting some amount of glucose and fructose in the foods you eat or do you often find yourself in ketosis? Also do you have any nuts in your diet?

Are you doing heavy weights or toning?

Re: food questions for shoo

This is great stuff.

Completely outside anything I currently know about, in terms of nutrition.

Not that I know about nutrition, but what I've absorbed through 'conventional' sources.

As always Shooey, I love your input and thank you for it.

Did I ever mention how I've started adding alfalfa sprouts to my veggie smoothies. Thanks for that. They are great.

We're also growing onion sprouts and garlic sprouts for  salads at home now.

Don't be too judgemental we do loads of , what you'd consider, bad noobish nutritional stuff but I'm only young and learning mate.

I'd like to incorporate much more raw vegan type meals into my diet but I'm miles off doing what you do.

Re: food questions for shoo

I've done a couple of stints of going a few days without meat I find in order to do this I have to have cholrella or spirulina and the nutrients in there like the iron b12 and protein means I dont get the meat craving. I dont do this for any moral reason I guess to me it just makes more sense to consume food nit open to such weird industrial processes  like meat currently is

Also what source do you take your d3 in Shoo?

Re: food questions for shoo

I was a veggie for a good few years for the reasons you mention Bop.

I never found I had a craving for meat and I never had cheat meat like quorn as it was too expensive.

I was walking miles every day for work, lifting kit over mountains and doing the same that guys twice my size were doing (because of my stupid bloody ego) and I never felt weak.

I never took suppliments either.

Oh and I was playing fives every other night, lifting weights and doing strength training and climbing (bouldering) on the other nights.

It's no wonder I used to take a 27" waist really.... now I've balooned to a 30! Shame on me.

I didn't have a TV then either.  Or internet. And I grew my own veg.

Holy shit, I was a prototype Shooman!

Im not sure about the light thing, I wouldnt want to suggest anything otherwise. Maybe your bodies needs have been met nutritionally so you need to eat less. I certainly eat a lot less now. Sometimes going from afternoon to morning with no main meal. Or something very light.. if youll pardon the pun

Also you might want to read up on atp production Liam. A good explanation of how energy is created in the body. If all nutrients and co-factors are not present it doesnt matter how much you consume in terms of calories.. the body will not as effectively turn that into energy the body can use.
