Nigel buys his suits at John Bray. I never quite worked out who that shop catered for.
The ex-stockbroker was wearing his trademark blue blazer (he buys his suits, all Italian-made, from John Bray tailors in London’s Jermyn Street), pressed pink shirt, cufflinks (his favourite pair has a Spitfire motif) and tightly knotted club tie. Does he ever undo his top button?
‘Weekends, of course, but not at work.
'That’s what posers like Dave (Cameron) do to show they are a man of the people. It’s all cobblers.’

^ Accurate.
Cameron's open-necked shirt makes him look ill at ease; as though he has just had a losing tussle with a spin doctor who got the heavies in to pin him down and pull the tie off. I can never understand this business of going tie-less with a lounge suit - it just looks sloppy. Better to ditch the suit and go with cords, jumper and loafers. ''I am Dave Cameron, your Prime Minister. I hope that a majority of you voters out there like me dressed this way because betraying everything that I believe in just to please a bunch of under-class morons has got to be worth it somewhere along the line. Vote Tory and we will do anything that you say, except keep election pledges; save the health service; the rule of law and state education. Vote Tory and show me how stupid you really are. Otherwise, you are throwing your vote away and showing some other UK party how stupid you are.''

LOL.
I had to google to see who Nigel was.
He's the man who's going to give the Tories a right bloody nose:

Bishop of Briggs used to complain about that John Bray shop. I wonder how the Bish is these days....
Banned from everywhere?
Doesnt Bray just do dated Italian stuff? How does that sit well with the UKIP leader
UKIP's Italian wardrobe? "Closet Fascist". Are we doing the cryptic?
I didn't watch it, but according to the media, Farage won on all fronts: debate and sartorial.
Not much competition with Clegg though.
Swivel-eyed closet racist versus Tory catamite turncoat.
Who really cares who "won"? Both public schoolboys mind - Dulwich v. Westminster.
Actually, that is unfair to Farage, I should have described him as "representitive of swivel-eyed closet racists" - he may well not be one.

He plays the part well at least.
Two minor parties get top billing on the News At Ten.
Win. win.
Lib Dems only want a couple of percentage points anyway. Clegg used the tricks that served him well in the last election. I still think he is dead man walking and I am sure not a day goes by without him plotting his next move to a well paid quango or Europe.
Ukip is the protest party of the moment but not much to it apart from Nigel. He would be better company down the pub than Clegg though.
I wouldn't suggest being anti-European instantly makes you a racist. It just happens to work out like that for a lot of people. I understand the need for trade links with Europe, but I dont wish to give up sovereignty to a Superstate. That bunch is worse than the ones we've already got. Basically we're between a rock and a hard place. Europe offers a lot but also stunted lower wage pay for millions, due to the importing of cheap labour. That's the only footing these far right types get. Europe as an idea has certainly effected the unwashed masses, and because some idiot thought a democracy was a good idea they can vote in people like Nigel.
