I didn't watch it, but according to the media, Farage won on all fronts: debate and sartorial.

Not much competition with Clegg though.

Actually, that is unfair to Farage, I should have described him as "representitive of swivel-eyed closet racists" - he may well not be one.

Lib  Dems only want a couple of percentage points anyway. Clegg used the tricks that served him well in the last election. I still think he is dead man walking and I am sure not a day goes by without him plotting his next move to a well paid quango or Europe.

Ukip is the protest party of the moment but not much to it apart from Nigel. He would be better company down the pub than Clegg though.
