Re: Shetlands

Oliver, I haven't had the chance to wear it, but it seems like it will be great! What I immediately noticed is that it has a rougher hand than all of my other non-brushed Shetlands (which are all BB) other than maybe the Spirit of Shetland sweater that I have. It reminds me of the way this Woolrich Shetland sweater (in Autumnal) that I had 20 years ago felt like.

I am anticipating that it will perform well! I also really like the waist band.

Re: Shetlands

I once got into a row with the manger of a supermarket in Leicestershire who had a sign on a kids ride outside the store that read, "This machine only excepts 10p pieces". Of course, conveying the precise opposite of what was meant.

Re: Shetlands

Thanks for this thread - most informative. After reading this I ordered two from Harley of Scotland a plain in Duck Egg and brushed shetland in Oyster. The quality is just perfect, I'm really impressed. I'm going to have to reign in on myself as I just want more colours now.

Is an exchange an option AC?

Re: Shetlands

All, I visited Arthur Shepherd in Cambridge yesterday on a quest for Shetlands. Wasn't disappointed. The ones they stock are all Harley of Scotland and of good quality. A solid range of colours and sizes too. Recommended if you're based in the UK. I went for a navy, a cumin and a 'clipper' (grey-blue mix). Will upload pictures soon.

Re: Shetlands

£68.50 each and a fairly relaxed fit. Not tight by any means. Saddle shoulder too.

Get some pics up Brad, you dirty tease. I'm tempted by one of the Harley brushed - just need some money!
