My pleasure man!
They're great shetlands, aren't they?
Oliver, I haven't had the chance to wear it, but it seems like it will be great! What I immediately noticed is that it has a rougher hand than all of my other non-brushed Shetlands (which are all BB) other than maybe the Spirit of Shetland sweater that I have. It reminds me of the way this Woolrich Shetland sweater (in Autumnal) that I had 20 years ago felt like.
I am anticipating that it will perform well! I also really like the waist band.

^ Look forward to seeing a pic of you in it Ox.
Incidentally i received a Jamieson's this week and as per Dopeman's suggestion further
back in the thread i sized up.I went for an XL its too big and is like a dress on me which is a shame
as it is superb.
Spooky ! - after clicking on 'the house of Bruar' link that AC posted a few weeks ago - I recieved a catalogue from them yesterday ..... they must be some really fucking powerful cookies they have on their website !
Aha - just what I suspected - the shetland wool producing branch of the NSA ....
I once got into a row with the manger of a supermarket in Leicestershire who had a sign on a kids ride outside the store that read, "This machine only excepts 10p pieces". Of course, conveying the precise opposite of what was meant.

Thanks for this thread - most informative. After reading this I ordered two from Harley of Scotland a plain in Duck Egg and brushed shetland in Oyster. The quality is just perfect, I'm really impressed. I'm going to have to reign in on myself as I just want more colours now.
Fuck it, I'm gonna order a Howlin' Birth of The Cool. Looks great!
Is an exchange an option AC?
No exhange possible i have given it to a bigger pal .
Same Shetland on Harley's site knit to order but over £100 cheaper

Gives better pics for everyone to see. I think its about £50 as that neigbour one is in dollars.
All, I visited Arthur Shepherd in Cambridge yesterday on a quest for Shetlands. Wasn't disappointed. The ones they stock are all Harley of Scotland and of good quality. A solid range of colours and sizes too. Recommended if you're based in the UK. I went for a navy, a cumin and a 'clipper' (grey-blue mix). Will upload pictures soon.
£68.50 each and a fairly relaxed fit. Not tight by any means. Saddle shoulder too.
Get some pics up Brad, you dirty tease. I'm tempted by one of the Harley brushed - just need some money!
