My secret exposed. Well if I have to be naked, I'm glad it here - LOL.
^ I liked your old 'Mono wardrobe' idea as a way to make a start. A real "Trad 101" idea.
Get the basics. Add 'accent' details (ties, etc) to ring the changes & move on from there as and when.
Makes more sense than any other approach I've seen on the Net.
D.
"The Brownshoe route" sounds like a euphemism for something really nasty.
^ LOL!
And I tend to favour the Russell Street...
Thnks for the compliment Tony.
There's a photo at the link below but it's not the greatest. I've a shot of the Duke's New York shoe closet but I've apparently never uploaded it and I think it's a hundred miles away. I'll try to look this weekend.

The DOW is American style indeed. Anglo influenced, but even at home in Blighty he didn't dress much like an English Gent. once he'd gotten into his stride. All that freedom he was after went to his head.
He's too flash to be one of us. Too studied and too tricksy in all the clobber he used to pile on.
You have him.
Churchill wasn't much of an English Gent. either on the whole...
Great god in heaven, that Simpson woman was a hound.

^ This is still the 'Awesome' thread, isn't it?
