Yesterday evening was a fun night - my brother-in-law's 50th.
black brogues
ultramarine socks
tobacco poplin suit
white/pale grey striped shirt w. silk knots in blue/brown/silver
navy silk knitted tie
swopped the jacket for my Logan tartan sports jacket mid-party!

I like that tie!
Clarks walking shoes, just my 'go to' chunky shoe
grey/green/black argyles, because they were there
faded old olive chinos, just a change from interminable khakis
brown belt (beer rationing paying off, gratefully noticed I could close one hole tighter today!)
black/white gingham seersucker BD, nice for today's muggy weather
khaki cotton sports jacket, for all the pockets
rainy today
brown brogues
dark green socks
camel colored cords
white Brooks oxford cloth
plain brown leather belt
my inherited Barbour Beaufort
trying for that english country look - LOL
^
... and doing quite well I reckon, but you will frighten the peasants with that white shirt

Double breasted self herringbone navy Lessers 11oz golden bale suit. Several shades of blue and white striped shirt with a Charvet red tie, duchamp oval cufflinks in gold with multi-colored enamel panels and a gold collar pin. Black cap toes and red socks.
Tan suede chukkas, dark green socks, brown/beige POW check trousers with rust/green overcheck, flat-fronted and cuffed, navy lambswool v-neck over petrol-blue BD w. navy and thin silver stripe repp tie. Beige Brooks mac and black umbrella (guess what the weather's like today...).
The whole thing was just too bland without the tie (the only repp tie I own, I'm not usually a fan), it does freshen it up a bit.
Black Bass weejuns, navy socks, Brooks tiebacks, 501s, BB red/white university stripe shirt under a navy crewneck sweater, with the Barbour Beaufort - it's colder today
Brown Church's buckled chukkas
Stone Tesco Katherine Hamnett organic cotton chinos
White Hanes T
Blue nailhead pattern old Gant b/d
Heather herringbone harris tweed 60's 3-2 sack
Trying to dodge the heavy April showers in London today.
Black brogues, lovat-blue socks, very faded and rumpled olive chinos, dark grey zipper sweater w. stand-up collar over ivory BD and Brooks black knit silk tie (an older one, both ends 2 1/4" wide). Hip-length beige mac and black brolly.
I think Chris's showers blew over here in the night!
Cream chambray buttondown
Olive pinwhale cords
Gray cashmere v-neck
Blackwatch shirtjacket
Brown ankle boots
Green patterned scarf
Why? Because I am easily influenced, and wanted to participate in the green contest at Style Forum
old Topsiders
old Bills in British khaki, cuffed
old Brooks pink oxford cloth shirt untucked
just a plain old day
a bit more proper today, trying to act like a grown up - ha
highly polished brown brogues
navy socks
Landsend khakis, cuffed
Brooks blue oxford cloth buttondown
navy and kelly green stripe cloth belt with brass buckle (i forget the real name)
I feel preppy, oh so preppy
